FSOL's PNG - what a classic. You ever hear the Weatherall or Massey remixes? Dumb Child of Q mix was pretty hot too.

You've inspired me to dig them out and have a listen again this evening. Fuckin' classic.

I've got a couple of mixes of PNG, and the more random PNG Translations release (a sort of ambient jazz trip along the lines of The Isness originally released under the Amorphous Androgynous guise). I'll check out the Weatherall / Massey remixes. Hope you enjoyed the evenings listening!

Drop me your address in my Comments section and I'll burn you a CD of some 6 remixes of PNG, the original and the 12".

It's all good.

PNG what a tune.... I was going to have this as my next top tune on the blog, but you have just beat me to it !! That Weatherall mix has to be my favourite, another absolute classic!

The early orb stuff and FSOL's accelerator got me into trippy dance music.... well that and a steady supply of mind bending chemicals ! What an amazing time that was...

Orbital 2 the brown one is my fave album from them.....

I have to Mr Skev you have good taste in music !!

Orbital 2 is damned good, though I really like everything they've released. They were great live aswell.

I have a very varied taste to be honest - mainly electronica in various forms but plenty of other genres too. The only stuff I really don't go for at all is that whole 'gansta rap' type shite (not to be confused with the fecking excellent old school rap a la Grandmaster Flash etc).

The Girl With The Sun In Her Head is probably my favourite Orbital track. All the early albums are good, but I was never quite as keen on the stuff they did after In Sides.

I actually quite like some gangsta rap, but I do find a most of it pretty hard going tbh....

"Straight outta compton" is a class tune for example.... but it always reminds me of Ali G for some reason !

I too like many musical things, but I really can't tollerate country and western, or soft ballady rock..... URRGGHHH !!

Hmmm, yes - the more I think about it you are right. There are a few genre that I find pretty much unlistenable. A song written by Billy Ray Cyrus and sung as a duet by Bryan Adams and 50 Cent would be my idea of aural hell!
